Cecil stood at the entrance of a dark cave. A draft spilled out of it, and her feathers bristled at the chilly air. Reflexively, she wrapped her winged-arms around herself and shivered.

She stood at the bottom of a cliff, between the forest and craggy rocks. The cave entrance formed a wide arch in front of her, like a maw of stone ready to swallow her up. As she stared into the depths, a shudder of fear ran down her spine.

"Do I have to go in?" Cecil squawked the question.

As a Low-Harpy, warm feathers covered her lower half, but her upper half was naked except for a small sash wrapped around her chest. She wore a loincloth too, but that didn't provide any warmth. The thought of entering the damp, chilly cave sent goosebumps rising along her unfeathered patches of skin.

"I cleared out that cave last month," Lucine said. She turned around at Cecil's question. As a High-Harpy, she had been directing the other Low-Harpies, but she paused to respond. "There shouldn't be anything in there but mushrooms. Just run in and pick a few. It won't take long."

Cecil glanced back at the foreboding cave, and another shiver ran down her spine. She wasn't nearly as strong as Lucine. Even a small snake bite could spell her end. "I don't know about this-"

"Hey! Those berries are poisonous!" Lucine turned back towards the other Harpies and shouted at them.

Cecil glanced between her sisters, but none of them paid her any mind. The other Low-Harpies ran between the trees and bushes, gathering food. The few that did sneak glances at Cecil quickly looked away, avoiding her accusatory stare.

"I guess I'll go in then..." Cecil said slowly.

Lucine continued shouting orders to the others, oblivious to her quiet resignation.

Cecil let out a discontented squawk but turned around. "I don't even like mushrooms...."

She stepped into the cave, and her talons clacked against the stone. Her sharp eyes saw through the darkness like daytime, but that didn't help the chill that ran down her back. She jumped at every quiet drip of water falling from the stalactites.

Small brown mushrooms grew at the edges of the puddles of water. Cecil bent down and harvested them, depositing them into a pouch on her hip. After a half-dozen filled her bag, she glanced back at the entrance.

Lucine's silhouette stood against the bright daylight beyond. The sight of their hunting-leader filled Cecil with determination, and she nodded to herself. "I can do this."

She progressed further into the cave and filled her bag of mushrooms as she went. The deeper she progressed, the more mushrooms she found, and she immersed herself in running between each small patch. If there weren't actually any snakes or beasts, her job was simple.

Cecil's bag filled with countless mushrooms, and the small pouch bulged.

"That should be enough," she said to herself.

Cecil stood up and glanced around. As her eyes scanned the darkness, she furrowed her brow. With a sickening lurch, she realized she didn't know which way was out. The light of the entrance was gone, and any sight of their hunting leader vanished with it.

"L-Lucine..!?" Cecil called out. Her voice echoed quietly around the cave, but no answer came back. A silence settled around her, and she shivered once again. "Lucine!"

At her second call, a sound reverberated out from the darkness. It echoed from all around her and grew in volume. A slithering of scales echoed out from the shadows.

"Lucine! Please, someone! This isn't funny!"

The slithering grew louder, rustling in circles around her. Cecil spun in a circle and tried to follow the noise, but the field of stalagmites left plenty of places for the source to hide. Her heart pounded in her chest as her eyes flitted between shadows.

"Please..." She whispered under her breath. Just as it felt her heart might explode in fear, a response came.

"What's wrong, ssssweetie?"

The voice drew out the 's' sound, like a slithering snake. However, Cecil sighed in relief. Whoever was pulling this prank, they must have known about her fear of snakes. That meant it was someone she knew.

"Is that you, Cardita? Tulip?"

An orange light glowed in the distance. It slipped between the stalagmites, gradually approaching. Whoever it was, they had brought a lantern.

"Thank Mother," Cecil whispered in relief. "Cardita, that's you, isn't it?"

The light grew closer, and a gentle glow filled the area. It was bright enough for Cecil to see her shadow, even. Having a light source helped immensely and Cecil sighed in relief. However, whoever held the lantern took their time navigating through the cave.

The light meandered between the stalagmites, and its color began to shift. The dark orange lightened, then flashed. A pink took its place, and then the color faded to a rich purple. The 'lantern' light shifted between hues that should have been impossible for a normal flame.

Cecil furrowed her brow, and a sliver of doubt crept into her mind. She watched the light wander between the stalagmites and realized how unnatural the movement truly was. It never seemed to get any closer, instead forming circles around the cave.

More lights lit up in the distance, all of them shifting between the same dizzying blend of colors. The lights danced around the cave, forming loops and spirals around the pillars of stone.

Cecil swallowed dryly and tried calling out one more time. "Cardita?"

No response came, but the lights froze. The shifting color stopped in a pinkish-purple and cast an unnatural glow throughout the cave.

A sickening feeling lurched through Cecil's stomach. Whoever it was, they weren't any of her sisters. Additionally, as she stared into the distance, she realized something was wrong.

She had noticed her shadow appear nearing the beginning of the colorful display. However, it stretched out in front of Cecil and pointed towards the other lights. That meant the source of light sat behind her.

The brightest of the lights, whatever had initially lit up her surroundings, it was directly behind her.

Cecil slowly turned and let out a scream.

A pink hand shot out, as quick as a lunging snake. It clamped down over Cecil's mouth, silencing her scream. The fingers didn't squeeze tight, but it was more than enough to cut off her scream for help.

"Shhhhh, sssssweetie...." The voice from earlier leaned in, and their lips tickled Cecil's ear. "You lookssss like a tassssty sssssnack...."

The world spun, and the ground disappeared out from under her feet. Cecil felt herself carried off and the stone cave turned into a blur around her. She, and the source of the light, sped through the cave, and the slithering of scales filled Cecil's ears.

They burst into a small hollow, and the glowing pink hands let Cecil down onto a dry grassy bed. "No one will hear your ssssscreamssss here..."

At last, Cecil forced herself to look up at her assailant. A glowing Lamia towered over her. She supported herself on a thick, flashing tail. Her scales shifted in hues between orange, pink, and purples. The lights from before had been her long glowing tail flashing through the cave.

"Cute birdiesss...." The Lamia dived down and scooped up Cecil in her arms. Her tail wound around them, binding Cecil in tight, warm coils.

"I'm gonna be eaten! Help! Lucine! Someone!" Cecil screamed and writhed, against the restraints. The Lamia's lips brushed over her skin, and her squawking voice raised several registers. "I'm being eaten!!!!"

"No one will hearsss you sssscream...." The Lamia's lips brushed up Cecil's neck before planting a kiss on her lips.

"Ahh, helppphhm!? Bwhah?" Cecil blinked in surprise.

The Lamia planted kiss after kiss on her face, before descending back down Cecil's neck. The tip of her snake tail stood straight up, flicking in delight.

"Cute birdiessss..." The Lamia hissed between kisses. Her hands squeezed Cecil tight, but not so tight as to crush her. She just kept mumbling the same phrase while kissing Cecil's face. "Cute birdiessss."

"What are you- Ahmph- doing?" Cecil's protests were interrupted by another kiss to her lips. However, rather than fear, she just felt confusion. "Ah, that spot's no good!"

The Lamia's forked tongue flicked over the corner of Cecil's jaw, and her eyes fluttered. A strange twinge rippled through her abdomen and a blush rose to her cheeks.

"Stop it," Cecil pushed the Lamia away and panted for breath. "What are you doing?"

The Lamia stared back at her in confusion, slightly tilting her head. "Birdiesss cute..."

Cecil's face flushed. Even if she managed to interrupt the Lamia's attack, she was still trapped in the Lamia's coils. The glowing pink tail squeezed their hips together, and Cecil's breasts pressed into Lamia's chest.

"What are you doing?" Cecil asked again, but the Lamia just stared at her blankly. Their faces rested a few inches apart, and her eyes spiraled with colors. As Cecil stared into her flashing eyes, a heat built between her legs. "What are those colors... Why are they so prettyyy?"

Cecil's words slurred and the heat flared hotter between her legs. She became distinctly aware of how her rough loincloth dug into her crotch. The Lamia's lower half pushed between Cecil's legs and squeezed the loincloth even tighter.

"Cute birdiesss...." The Lamia whispered again. Her scales flashed, and she rocked her hips.

The thick, scaly lower half ground against her crotch, and Cecil cried out. The flames arousal coursed between her legs, and a shudder of satisfaction rippled through her sex. "Ah, what- ah...."

"Cute birdiesss...." The Lamia repeated and her eyes flashed. The same flash rippled through her scales, and her snake-half practically vibrated against Cecil's crotch.

She couldn't look away from the beautiful array of spiraling colors in the Lamia's eyes. The longer she looked, the hotter the arousal burned through her body. Her mind spun in confused pleasure, and she struggled to think.

"Ah- Uhmmgh... What- Ah!" Cecil's back arched and she bucked against the Lamia's tail. The pleasure crashed through her hips in waves, and each swell in pleasure grew stronger than the last. "Wait, ahn!"

"Wait?" The Lamia's hips slowed and Cecil shuddered. At her request, the Lamia rocked her hips in a gentle rhythm. However, the undulating tail between her legs still ground against the front of her loincloth and sent waves of pleasure through her sex.

"Ah- Uhm..." Cecil's eyes fluttered and she struggled to think. If she opened her eyes, the Lamia's enchanting hues of color would fill her brain. However, if she kept her eyes closed, she could only bask in the pleasure tingling between her legs.

"Cute birdie..." The Lamia grinned at her and began moving her hips faster again.

"Wait, mmmph..." Cecil bit her lower lip, muffling a moan. At her request, the Lamia slowed back down, but the gentle rock of her hips still sent fresh warmth throbbing in Cecil's loins. It only delayed the inevitable.

"Cute birdie... Tassssty sssssnack...." The Lamia hissed.

Cecil opened her eyes, staring into the entrancing swirling colors once more. The Lamia's eyes stared back at her in hunger, and her mind whirred in horny confusion. The sight of her snake-like features terrified her, but Cecil couldn't look away. The beautiful dazzling display fanned the flames between her legs.

"L-Lucine..." Cecil whispered under her breath and shuddered. As a mere Low-Harpy, she didn't have the capability to fight a regular snake, let alone a Lamia. "I'm going to get eaten..." She whispered under her breath.

A small whimper escaped Cecil, and something snapped within her. If she was just a Low-Harpy, if she was already doomed to death, she might as well enjoy it.

"Ah!" Cecil leaned forward and rested her chin on the Lamia's shoulder. She began rocking her hips on her own, grinding back against the Lamia's tail. "I don't care anymore!"

"Cute birdiesssss!" The Lamia rocked her hips back in time with Cecil's own.

The damp loincloth ground against her mound, and her cl*t throbbed in satisfaction. Even without direct stimulation, the layers of cloth and scales shifted over one another and sent tingling pleasure crashing through her hips.

Beyond the Lamia, countless crystals lined the small hollow. The Lamia's colors reflected in them and shone down into the nest of dried moss. Cecil stared at the fractal kaleidoscope of hues, and a shaky smile rose to her lips. Even if she hadn't looked at the Lamia's eyes, escape had been impossible from the start.

"Ahnghhhh!" Cecil's back arched and she came.

The Lamia's lower half vibrated between her legs, shifting back and forth over her loincloth. Her tingling cl*t throbbed and pulsed in time with the colors, sending fresh waves of pleasure coursing through her loins.

"Ah- oh..." Cecil panted and caught her breath. Through half-lidded eyes, she glanced back at the Lamia.

The snake woman grinned, and her coils loosened. "Cute birdie..."

Arousal still burned through Cecil. The flashing pinks, purples, and oranges pulsed even brighter from the Lamia and lit up the entire hollow. The crystals in the cave roof scattered the light and added to the dizzying display. However, as the Lamia released her, and let Cecil down onto the bed of moss, Cecil felt a flicker of hope.

"Are you letting me go..?" Cecil whispered.

"Tassssty sssssnack..." The Lamia pulled Cecil's loin cloth aside and tossed it away, revealing her messy sex.

Cecil shuddered as the air wafted against her mound. However, a fresh wave of anticipation bled into the fear. The two emotions swirled within her, and as the Lamia leaned forward, she cried out, "I'm going to be eaten!!!"

The Lamia's forked tongue slipped between her lower lips and flicked against her cl*t. Her arms wrapped around Cecil's thighs and pinned her hips in place. She ruthlessly slurped and licked at Cecil's unprotected sex.

Cecil's cries echoed around the room, but she wasn't sure if it was from fear or arousal. Eventually, however, her fear would fade away, and the Lamia's words would take on a whole new meaning.

"No one will hearsss you sssscream...."

"I'm being eaten!" Cecil screamed at the top of her voice.

— Two Hours Later —

Lucine stood at the cave entrance, directing the Low-Harpies. She pointed and guided them along their duties, collecting food for their nest. However, many of the Low-Harpies had already finished.

The free Harpies flitted between the forest trees, playing games with each other. Their laughter and squawking conversations easily made the muffled cries from the cave. Even if Lucine had listened for them, the long winding cave left little of the original moans to hear.

Eventually, Cecil did emerge from the cave. She walked on wobbly legs, with her brown hair disheveled. "L-Lucine..." Cecil squawked.

"Oh, you're back," Lucine glanced back at her and blinked. "Are you okay?"

"I-I'm fine." A deep blush filled her cheeks, but she waved away the attention. "Here are the mushrooms."

"Oh," Lucine said and took the pouch, but she frowned at them. "Some of these are crushed."

"Eh heh, sorry about that." Cecil glanced away, and the red spread up to her ears. Her heart beat a little faster as she remembered getting squeezed in the Lamia's coils. The mushrooms must have gotten damaged at that time.

"Are you sure you're alright? It shouldn't take two hours to gather mushrooms..." Lucine stored the mushrooms in the shade before glancing back at Cecil. "Did anything happen?"

"No, nothing!" Cecil raised her voice, then realized her mistake and shook her head. "Uhm, I just got a bit lost."

Lucine gave a tight smile. "Sorry for pushing you like that. Next time, I can get someone else to pick the mushrooms."

"Actually, uhm. Can I do it next time too?"
