It’s a mix of pureed strawberries, pink champagne, simple syrup, and lemon-lime soda. It’s sweet and bubbly and PINK!

Breast cancer and other cancershave impacted so many of us.

The “C” word is something we never want to hear in relation to those we love, and that’s why it’s important to spread awareness of early signs, preventative measures, and to keep raising funds to find a cure and alternative treatments.

Would you use 7up, or la croix type soda?

    • Rebecca Hubbell says

We use 7up, but you could definitely use club soda or seltzer if you’d prefer.

I hosted a wreath making class today and thought this would be a nice treat for the women who attended. I was right!!! That strawberry puree makes all the difference. I followed directions exactly and it couldn’t have been any easier to make. Thank you for sharing. I believe this may become a staple for all my upcoming classes.

Can this be made a day ahead of time and refrigerated?

    • Rebecca Hubbell says

You could blend the strawberries and combine them with the simple syrup in advance. But the champagne and soda should be added right before serving so it doesn’t go flat.

Do you think it would be okay to substitute the champagne for Prosecco?

    Reply

    • Rebecca Hubbell says

      Yes, that would be fine.

So, it already calls for lemon lime soda, would you:

    1. add more soda
    2. add more soda and club soda
    3. just add club soda
    4. make it according to the recipe and just omit the champagne

Sorry I just want to do it right.

Thanks so much for you input and help

I would replace the champagne with more lemon-lime soda or an equal amount of club soda. I wouldn’t do all club soda as you will lose some flavor and sweetness from the lemon-lime soda.

    • Rebecca Hubbell says

Yes, I would add club soda or lemon-lime soda instead!

Hi! This looks delicious and planning to make for a party. Is it OK to use Rose in place of pink moscato? And if so, still or sparkling? thanks!

    Reply

    • Rebecca Hubbell says

Rose is definitely okay to use and you can use still or sparkling, totally up to you since the soda will still give the drink a nice fizz.
